Simpson University launches its first online B.A. degree program
For Immediate Release
The first cohort of the 16-month degree program began this month and is offered through the Adult Studies ASPIRE program.
The Dean of Adult Studies, Patty Taylor, said, "At Simpson University we are committed to providing students with personalized attention, and this online format is no exception. Students will find the online degree program to be convenient, accessible, and a highly-interactive online learning environment."
The organizational leadership degree is designed to prepare students to lead in profit and non-profit organizations, become self-employed and build entrepreneurial business skills.
The online program format utilizes threaded discussions, journal postings, exams, project submissions, chats, teleconferencing and audio conferencing (Skype).
The university is accepting applications for the next cohort in spring 2012 for the online organizational leadership program. Students who are interested in the major are encouraged to contact Ericka Jones at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 226-4743. Appointments can be conducted via phone or Skype and will include a customized academic plan to help students reach their educational goals.
