Simpson University Launches its Second Online Cohort
For Immediate Release
RREDDING, Calif. – This January, Simpson University will begin its second Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership cohort, offered entirely online.
The first cohort, which began in January 2011, was offered through the Continuing Studies ASPIRE program and allowed students from all over the country to finish their B.A. degree in 16 months.
The Dean of Continuing Studies, Patty Taylor, said, “At Simpson University we are committed to providing students with personalized attention, and this online format is no exception. Students have found the online degree program to be convenient, accessible, and a highly interactive online learning environment.”
The organizational leadership degree is designed to prepare students to lead in profit and non-profit organizations, become self-employed and build entrepreneurial business skills.
Sam Ryan, an Ohio resident and current student in the online organizational leadership major, said, “The online cohort has enabled me to better see my full potential as an organizational leader, and the coursework is preparing me for a successful launch into a career in many fields of organizational structure. Each class I’ve taken is one that will be valuable in my future career plans.”
The online program format utilizes threaded discussions, journal postings, exams, project submissions, chats, teleconferencing and audio conferencing (Skype).
The university is accepting applications for the second online cohort. The deadline to apply is Dec. 1. Financial aid is available, and there is no out-of-state tuition.
Students who are interested in the major are encouraged to contact Rebecka Renfer at firstname.lastname@example.org or at (530) 226-4961.
Appointments can be conducted via phone or Skype and will include a customized academic plan to help students reach their educational goals.
