Ticket sales end soon for ‘An Evening with Jon Miller’

REDDING, Calif. - Tickets are on sale until noon Friday for “An Evening with Jon Miller,” a community baseball field fundraiser featuring the renowned San Francisco Giants radio announcer.
Simpson University is hosting the event Sunday, Feb. 10, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. inside its gymnasium at 2211 College View Drive. Doors open at 5 p.m. Baseball-themed attire is encouraged.
Tickets cost $30 (or $300 for a table of 10) and include baseball stadium-themed food, silent and live auctions, and tales from the legendary Miller, who has announced Giants games for 16 seasons on KNBR Radio and NBC Bay Area.
Proceeds benefit the Redding Community Baseball Field, a regulation-sized field being built on campus for area youth and collegiate teams.
Auction items include four Giants’ Club Level tickets (includes parking and a tour to see Miller in the announcer’s booth); tickets to the Giants vs. Diamondbacks game on July 20 (includes parking and tour of Comcast Studio); a two-night stay in the majestic Muse Family Retreat in Mount Shasta; and a wild game dinner for six.
