Simpson University Baseball Coach Helps Lead Pro Team to Championship

REDDING, Calif. - Simpson University’s head men’s baseball coach Greg Cadaret helped lead a professional Michigan-based baseball team to a league championship this fall.
During the collegiate baseball off-season, Cadaret serves as pitching coach for the Traverse City Beach Bums, one of 14 teams comprising the independent Frontier League.
In early September, the Beach Bums won the 2015 Frontier League championship by defeating the River City Rascals 3-0 in a best-of-five series. The league consists of teams from Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, and Pennsylvania.
Cadaret has served as pitching coach for the Beach Bums since 2014. He is entering his second season as head coach of the Simpson baseball program.
Simpson University, established in 1921, is a Christian university offering undergraduate, graduate, and teaching credential programs.
