Register Now for Simpson University Business Luncheon

REDDING, Calif. - Tickets are still available for Simpson University’s 15th annual Business Leadership Luncheon on Aug. 31, featuring consultant, professor and former university president Dr. James M. Grant.
The event, sponsored by Redding Bank of Commerce, is in the student life center on campus, 2211 College View Drive. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.; the event begins at noon. Tickets range from $18 to $25.
Dr. Grant will talk about comfort as a strategy, and how businesses and workplaces that attract the most people provide more than goods, services, and compensation. A resident of Carbondale, Ill., Dr. Grant teaches master’s-level courses at Southern Illinois University in management, fundraising and marketing, granting writing, and nonprofit management. With more than 40 years involvement in nonprofit management, he also does consultation work in management and fundraising.
