Simpson University Hires New Development Representative

REDDING, Calif. - Simpson University announces the hiring of Ken White as the university’s new regional advancement officer. White worked most recently at the Good News Rescue Mission in Redding as its development director.
White has nearly a decade of experience in the development field, and more than 10 years in investment management and financial and estate planning. He is a 2015 graduate of Leadership Redding, coaches youth sports, and is active in a number of local civic organizations, including Redding East Rotary.
In his role at Simpson, White will be responsible for building key relationships to advance the financial strength of the university and expand the availability of student scholarships.
White has a history degree from the California State University, Sacramento. He and his wife, Stephanie, a Simpson University alum, have two children, Austin, 14, and Taylor, 17.
Simpson University, established in 1921, is a Christian university offering undergraduate, graduate, and teaching credential programs. The university celebrated its 25th year in Redding and the completion of a Science and Nursing Center in 2014. Academic programs include ASPIRE, a degree-completion program geared toward working adults with both on-campus and online course offerings, including degrees in psychology and organizational leadership.
