Simpson University for Seniors to Host Info Meeting on Shasta County Grand Jury

REDDING, Calif.—Simpson University for Seniors will sponsor an informational meeting about the Shasta County Grand Jury for those interested in learning more and possibly serving on it.

The meeting is scheduled for 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, in room 204 of the Owen Student Services Center on campus, 2211 College View Drive in Redding.

The Shasta County Grand Jury is an independent “watchdog” investigative body composed of 19 citizens who serve for a year. It monitors the performance of the county, cities, and other governing entities in Shasta County and makes recommendations to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of government services.




Simpson University, established in 1921, is a Christian university offering undergraduate, graduate, and teaching credential programs.
