Meet the Staff
Registrar and FERPA Officer
As the Registrar at Simpson, I have the privilege of supervising a great staff dedicated to student service. Often, I get to focus on how our department interacts with other departments on campus and with the faculty so that we can all work together in how we educate, care for, and disciples students.
Sarah holds a B.S. in Mathematics Education from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Penn. She earned an M.A. in Humanities from Penn State University. Sarah also attended Trinity School for Ministry (Seminary) in Ambridge, Penn., where she earned an M.A.R. in Biblical Studies and an S.T.M. in Theology and the Arts. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys kayaking and camping. She’s also very interested in the interaction between artists and the church.
Associate Registrar for Records and Advising / Veterans Affairs Certifying Official
My job responsibilities include certifying and advising veterans or dependents of veterans, working with international students and study abroad students, evaluating the completion of students’ degrees, and coordinating the commencement ceremonies. I really enjoy working with everyone at Simpson.
Dannielle grew up in the small town of Dallas, Oregon (not Texas). She met her husband at Simpson and graduated in 2007 with a B.A. in Cross-Cultural Studies. She enjoys cooking and relaxing outdoors in the beautiful North State with her husband.
Associate Registrar for Registration and Reporting
As the Associate Registrar for Registration and Reporting, my duties include overseeing the course schedules and WebAdvisor registration set-up for all programs at Simpson, tracking and reporting enrollment data, solving registration issues, verifying student enrollment upon request, and generally working to make registration a smoother process for all involved.
Sara received her Bachelor of Music from Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., and her Master of Arts in Biblical Languages from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, Calif. She spends her spare time reading, writing and performing music, and being involved with Transitioning Lives into Community, International, a faith-based non-profit organization based in Redding, Calif.
Academic Records Specialist
My name is Kandice Suzanne Stallcop, M.A.; I am the Academic Records Specialist at Simpson University. You might ask yourself, “What exactly is an Academic Records Specialist?” To that I respond: Transcripts, transcripts, transcripts. I evaluate incoming and prospective students’ transcripts, post degrees and print diplomas, and help organize and execute commencement ceremonies.
Kandice received a B.A. in Youth Ministry from Simpson and an M.A. in Intellectual Leadership from A. W. Tozer Theological Seminary. In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, playing games, laughing, and meeting new people.
My name is Aaron Holmes. I am an Academic Advisor at Simpson University. I am available to assist students with class selection, resolve registration conflicts, develop graduation plans, and access other campus resources, as well as educate students on important policies and dates. I love to help students make the most of their experience at Simpson by educating and assisting each student in their journey towards success.
Aaron grew up in Washington State, transferred to Simpson University, and graduated in 2009 with a B.A. in Communication. Aaron currently spends his spare time empowering the next generation, watching/making films, and playing Settlers of Catan.
My name is Sarah Bram and I am one of the Academic Advisors at Simpson University. I enjoy helping students with needs such as registration, major selection, graduation plans, class scheduling, and directing them to the resources available. I enjoy building relationships with students to help make their transition to college as easy as possible, and help guide them towards a successful college career which includes academics, character/identity formation, and their walk with Christ.
Sarah Bram moved to Redding from the Bay Area with her husband in 2003. She graduated from Simpson University in 2006 with a B.A. in Psychology and has a goal is to earn an M.A. in Spiritual Formation. She became a mother in 2007, and now has two beautiful girls. In her spare time, she enjoys writing, speaking, teaching, discipling, and anything outdoors!
My name is Beth Veenstra, and I am the Registrar Receptionist at Simpson University. My responsibilities include assisting anyone who comes into or calls our office, processing requests for transcripts, enrollment verifications and degree verifications, and scheduling appointments with the Registrar’s Office and Advising Center staff.
Beth received her B.A. in English and German from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Having served as a missionary and pastor's wife in the Dominican Republic and Southern California, she now resides with her family in Redding. In her spare time, Beth (with her husband's help) manages a busy household with three children (two teens and a seven-year-old). She also loves to make crafts for her on-line Etsy shop and to write children's books.
Student Registrar Receptionist
My name is Lindsay Szymanski, and it is my privilege as the Student Registrar Receptionist to provide any assistance and support that I can to students, parents, fellow colleagues, and any and all folks who need assistance from the Registrar’s Office/Advising Center. A lot of what I do involves answering phone, in person, and e-mail inquiries and processing forms such as transcript requests, enrollment verifications, special registration forms, personal information updates, etc. My responsibilities also include filing, organizing, and scheduling appointments for the Registrar and Advising Center staff.
Lindsay is currently pursuing a bachelor’s of arts degree at Simpson University in General Ministry. With any spare time in her lap, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her husband, close friends, and family and is all for a good work out or a great book. She is passionate about helping others understand the depth of God and is excited to be used in His great plan to build His Kingdom.
