FOCUS Career Assessment

Focus Career Information System

Focus Career Assessment recently released the second version of their career and education planning system. Focus 2 offers you a free self-paced guidance tool for self-assessment and career exploration. Open an online account, create a portfolio and bring your career into focus.

You can explore careers by name, industry, or your area of study. You can also use this tool to compare careers.

This part of Focus2 outlines your career goals, educational strengths and weaknesses, and areas where you need personal development. It also helps you keep track of where you are in reaching your career goals.

You can take and re-take these self-assessments at any time. You can also review your assessment answers. The five assessments are

  • Work Interest Inventory
  • Personality
  • Skills
  • Work Values
  • Leisure Activities
