As the student population grows, the amount needed to offset student costs will increase. Money raised directly benefits Simpson University students.

Music Building
Music Building ($3.5 million)
Raised and pledged to date: $560.000
This building will include fully equipped classrooms, teaching studios, sound-proof practice rooms, a performance hall and a black-box theater for drama. The Music Building is a significant upgrade from the current space and will benefit the growing emphasis on the arts at Simpson and in the Redding community.

Science and Nursing Building ($3.5 million)
Raised and pledged to date: $1.9 million
This structure is desperately needed to serve a growing number of science students and to resource Simpson University’s commitment to expand the sciences and related curriculum. The Science Building will provide classrooms, laboratories, and faculty offices.

Curriculum Development Fund ($500,000)
Raised and pledged to date: $142,300
The university has embarked on an aggressive curriculum expansion plan that will increase our enrollment, fill out our program offerings and meet pressing workforce needs of this region of California. Several new majors have been implemented. Additional majors are planned, and the cost associated with the startup of these programs is significant. An investment in this fund provides opportunity to extend Simpson University’s mission to additional areas of study and career opportunities.

Universities must attract, develop and retain excellent faculty. Those who teach and lead students are so critical to the future of Simpson University. These resources directly benefit faculty in their professional growth, research and writing.
