A big part of sharing the gospel is explaining to people why we know the gospel is true. Do you have questions about how the Bible fits with science? Are you equipped to explain why it’s reasonable to believe in the resurrection of Christ and also believe in quasars? If you’re interested to learn about the logic of Christianity and how one scientist evangelizes people by sharing scientific truth along with biblical truth, then this course is for you. Dr. Ross can handle all the hard questions that anyone might bring.
Hugh Ross is the founder of a research institute called Reasons to Believe. He spends about 50% of his time doing research and 50% speaking and writing. Dr. Ross has interacted with top scholars around the world and been featured in many programs on radio and TV as well speaking live and doing podcasts. Dr. Ross is an evangelist teacher, a world class thinker with a photographic memory and a Dr. Spock-like style that is engaging and disarming and extremely stimulating intellectually. He is theologically conservative, a strong believer in the inerrancy of Scripture, and a man whom God has used to help many skeptics come to faith. He is a churchman, a family man, and also an avid jogger.
Being a native Canadian, Dr. Ross’ degrees are from the University of British Columbian and the University of Toronto. His post-doctoral work was done at the California Institute of Technology. His books are many and easy to read. The titles include Hidden Treasures in the Book of Job, Why the Universe Is the Way It Is, The Fingerprint of God, The Creator and the Cosmos, Beyond the Cosmos, The Genesis Question, and A Matter of Days.
