Traditional Undergraduate Program '10
Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology
"On May 1, 2010, I was the third person in my family to graduate from Simpson University’s traditional undergraduate program with a major in psychology. And as was the case with my siblings, I absolutely enjoyed every moment of it.
In August of that same year, after considering other local universities and speaking to many professionals within the community, I enrolled into Simpson’s Master’s in Counseling Psychology (MACP) program. I chose Simpson for a variety of reasons. I wanted a degree from a reputable institution where I felt I would be marketable in the professional field, and I wanted a Christ-centered environment. Though Simpson’s MACP program was new, I felt it had already established a prominent name for itself.
"I am grateful that my education provided me with the tools to become successful, especially within the economic difficulties that our country is facing."
After being in the program for one full year, I cannot emphasize how remarkable the experience has been. The faculty is knowledgeable and helpful, and I have created lifelong friendships with others in my cohort. These relationships have proven invaluable as we support each other in pursuit of our career goals.
It is my strong conviction that I am a better individual because of my education at Simpson University. I have developed in spiritual maturity and intellect and have already been offered career opportunities. I am grateful that my education provided me with the tools to become successful, especially within the economic difficulties that our country is facing.
Those who are seeking to enhance their lives and would like to be challenged academically, spirituality, and intellectually can benefit from a Simpson University education."
