When you bring your student to get settled in at Simpson University, there are several opportunities for you to get your questions answered and begin to get connected as part of the SU family. On Friday, Parent Relations staff will be on hand at the Welcome Center, the first stop for you and your student. Take a break at the Parent Oasis while our current students help with move-in. Later that day, you will have opportunity to meet professors at a reception. Saturday begins with a not-to-miss delicious catered breakfast for parents.
Parent Weekend - October 16-18, 2015
Each fall parents are invited to spend the weekend on campus visiting their students. Parents are given opportunities to spend the day with students, fellowship with other parents and challenge other families in a friendly competition of miniature golf, go-carts and laser tag. This year parents will have the opportunity to experience part of Simpson University’s history as we inaugurate the 14th president of the university, Dr. Robin Dummer.
Grandparent Day - February 5, 2016
Grandparents are invited to the Simpson campus for a special day with their student. Visit classes, meet Interim President Dr. Dummer, attend chapel, and more! A professional photographer will take commemorative family photos. For more information or to register, please visit simpsonu.edu/gpday or contact Chelsea Cormack, Alumni and Parent Relations Assistant, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 530.226.4765.
