Simpson University is dedicated to the mission of changing lives. To accomplish that task we must impact the lives of local students. This ideal has inspired Simpson University to create The Educators Scholarship to support the training and equipping of credentialed schoolteachers.

Scholarship Program

Our desire is to make attending Simpson University an affordable option for educators. Scholarships are limited, so apply now.

Who is eligible to apply for the scholarship?

Any interested student must be:

  • Entering Simpson to major in liberal studies, English for Teachers, Math for Teachers, Social Science for Teachers, or Music Education, with the intention to become a teacher
  • Planning to enroll in the SU credentialing program

How much is the scholarship?

The Educators Scholarship awards up to $15,000 a year (up to $13,000 basee scholarship and up to an additional $2,000 based on financial need). A student could receive up to $60,000 through The Educators Scholarship program.

Scholarship benefits

The Educators Scholarship pays a majority of a student's tuition and
allows a student to maximize their federal and/or state student aid to
pay for the remaining portion of
tuition and on-campus housing.

Additional requirements

Recipients of the scholarship must commit to living on campus to experience the benefits of the
Simpson University community
unless approved to live off campus.

All Simpson University scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis to new incoming students only. Student-athletes receive separate scholarship awards.
