
Simpson University is dedicated to the mission of celebrating culture and promoting unique cultural expressions. To accomplish that task we must encourage varied cultural perspectives. This ideal has inspired Simpson University to create the Mosaic Scholarship to make a four-year private Christian education affordable for students who display exemplary academics and express a desire to promote culture and equality.
Scholarship Program
Our hope is to make Simpson University an affordable option for up to 15 students a year who show academic excellence and are eager to celebrate culture and equality.What are the qualifications for this scholarship?
Those who meet the minimum G.P.A. and are selected by the Mosaic Scholarship Committee may be eligible to receive the scholarship. Selection can be based on:
- Past academic performance
- Participation in community activities
- Cultural background
- Essay
How much is the scholarship?
The Mosaic Scholarship awards up to $15,000 a year. A student can also receive up to an additional $3,000 a year with the Simpson University Matching Award when a family member, business, or church sponsor commits to providing funds for the student's education at Simpson University. With a full $3,000 annual match from a sponsor, a student can receive up to $84,000 over four years.
Scholarship benefits
The Mosaic Scholarship pays the majority of a student's tuition,
allowing a student to maximize their federal student aid to pay for the remaining portion of tuition and on-campus housing.
Additional requirements
Recipients of the scholarship must commit to living on campus to experience the benefits of the
Simpson University community
unless approved to live off campus.

All Simpson University scholarship are available on a first-come, first-served basis to new incoming students only. Student-athletes receive separate scholarship awards.
