Homecoming Weekend and Family Fun Day

Simpson University’ s Family Fun Day is a community event celebrating 20 years in Redding which targets community and alumni families with an emphasis on wholesome, healthy activities. The event kicks off Saturday, October 17 at 10 a.m. with the YMCA’s the ONE Fun Run and Walk. Other events include
- Animal Show
- Live music
- Rock wall climbing
- Children's Carnival games
- Jump house
- Collegiate sporting events
Event partners include Healthy Shasta, Mercy Medical Center, Redding Electric Utility, and Turtle Bay Exploration Park.
Family Fun Day runs from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Admission is free. A delicious BBQ lunch and refreshments will be available for purchase at the event.
