Simpson to Host Movies in the Park

REDDING, Calif. - Simpson University has partnered with Enjoy Magazine to bring “Movies in the Park” to the Simpson campus. Every Friday night in September (Sept. 4, 11, 18, and 25), the Redding community is invited to attend this free family-friendly event on the Simpson campus. Families are encouraged to bring a towel or lawn chair and watch a movie on a large outdoor screen. Open seating begins at 7 p.m. with the movie beginning at dusk. Vendors will be there selling food and beverages and all money raised will go towards Plus ONE Mentors in Redding. Movie schedule is as follows:

• Sept. 4 - August Rush
• Sept. 11 - Remember the Titans
• Sept. 18 - The Chronicles of Narnia
• Sept. 25 - Akeelah and the Bee
