Three Simpson basketball players earn NCCAA All-American Honors

GREENVILLE, SC – Three Simpson University basketball players earned NCCAA All-American honors: women’s basketball player sophomore Paige Barrett and men’s basketball graduating seniors Jason Stubbs and Justin Sparks.
Barrett received NCCAA All-American Honorable mention. She averaged 8.94 points per game and ranked No. 11 in the nation for free throw percentage shooting 81 percent.
Stubbs and Sparks each earned NCCAA All-American Honorable mention. Stubbs led the Red Hawks in rebounding averaging 7.86 rebounds per game, was second in scoring with 15.71 points per game and second in assist with 2.89 assist per game. Sparks led the Red Hawks with 16.6 points per game and was second in rebounding with 6.67 rebounds per game.
