World-renown Leipzig String Quartet makes Simpson University in Redding its only Northern California venue

REDDING, Calif. – Simpson University announced today that it will host a concert by the world-renowned and highly acclaimed Leipzig String Quartet. The concert will take place on Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. in the Heritage Student Life Center.
Advance tickets can be purchased at the Simpson University bookstore or at the door the day of the performance. General seating is $15; students and seniors are $12.
Simpson University Music Department Chair Dan Pinkston said, “Simpson University is thrilled to welcome musicians of such high caliber and experience onto our campus. It’s an amazing opportunity for the Redding community to enjoy the talents of this group, which has also played for audiences at the Library of Congress and Carnegie Hall.”
This year, in addition to Redding, the Leipzig String Quartet will perform across the country and the world, including in New York, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Vienna, Paris and Tokyo.
