Simpson to Host Annual Exposure Film Festival

REDDING, Calif. – Simpson University will present its 6th annual Exposure Film Festival on Friday, Nov. 18, at 9 p.m. Guests can walk the red carpet at 7:30 prior to the event. Exposure, which is open to the public, will feature 11 short films produced by Simpson University students and will be shown in the Heritage Student Life Center on the university campus.

Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5 or in advance at the Simpson University Bookstore located on the first level of the Owen Center during normal business hours.

Nine pre-selected judges from the Redding community and Simpson University's faculty and staff will evaluate all films, which are under 10 minutes in length. The winner of Best Picture will receive a check for $500. Other categories include Best Editing, Best Director, Best Actor/Actress, Best Cinematography and Best Christian Message.

This amateur film festival is designed to spotlight the works of Simpson University students and to give them an opportunity to express themselves through the medium of motion picture.
