Simpson University to Host Annual Exposure Film Festival

REDDING, Calif. - Simpson University will present its 7th annual Exposure Film Festival on Friday, Nov. 16, at 8 p.m.

The festival, open to the public, will feature seven short films produced by Simpson University students. It will be held in the Heritage Student Life Center on campus, 2211 College View Drive.

Guests are invited to walk the ‘red carpet’ prior to the event. Doors will open by 7:40 p.m. Dutch Bros. will provide discounted drinks to festival attendees while they wait in line.

Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5 or in advance online at simpsonu.edu/exposure or at the Simpson University Bookstore on the first floor of the Owen Student Services Center during normal business hours.

Judges from the Redding community and Simpson University’s faculty and staff will evaluate the films, which are under 10 minutes long. The winner of Best Picture will receive $500. Other categories include Best Editing, Best Director, Best Actor/Actress, Best Cinematography, and Best Christian Message.

This amateur film festival is designed to spotlight the works of Simpson University students and to give them an opportunity to express themselves through the medium of motion picture.
