Ticket sales start Thursday for Laura Bush event

REDDING, Calif. - Tickets for “A Conversation with Laura Bush” will go on sale at 9 a.m. Jan. 31. Prices range from $60 to $81 (plus transaction fees).

Simpson University and Advance Redding are partnering to bring the former First Lady to the Redding Civic Auditorium on Sunday, March 17. Doors open at 3 p.m. Mrs. Bush is scheduled to speak at 3:45 p.m. about her life in the White House and her ongoing work through the Bush Institute. She will also answer audience questions.

Author of the best-selling memoir, “Spoken from the Heart,” Mrs. Bush also founded the Texas Book Festival and the National Book Festival in Washington, D.C. Today, as chair of the Women’s Initiative at the George W. Bush Institute, Mrs. Bush continues her work on global healthcare innovations, empowering women in emerging democracies, education reform, and supporting the men and women who have served in America’s military.
