Simpson University to Hold ASPIRE Leaders Luncheon

REDDING, Calif. - Celebrating 25 years of educating adult students, Simpson University will host an ASPIRE Leaders Luncheon at 11:45 a.m. Thursday, March 19.
All ASPIRE alumni and current students are invited. Seating is limited; tickets cost $10 and can be purchased online at simpsonu.edu/aspireluncheon.
The luncheon will feature guest speaker Dr. Tony Baron from Azusa Pacific Seminary in San Diego. Dr. Baron is an internationally recognized speaker, writer and consultant on the subject of creating servant leaders. The author of six books, he also founded Servant Leadership Institute, a think-tank on leadership development and transformation.
Dr. Baron will speak on “Transformative Leadership: The Next Stage for Servant-Leaders.”
The event will be held in the J.D. Williams Suite in the Owen Student Services Center. Check-in is at 11:30 a.m. in the Owen Center lobby.
“I’m excited that we have Dr. Baron to speak at our first ASPIRE Leaders Luncheon event,” said Dr. John Burlison, dean of Adult Studies and online programs. “His expertise and passion for servant leadership is inspirational. ASPIRE students and alumni won’t want to miss this opportunity.”
The School of Adult Studies (ASPIRE) has graduated nearly 3,500 North State adults since 1989. The program offers bachelor’s degrees in business management, liberal studies, psychology, and organizational leadership, with online and weeknight on-campus class options.
