Simpson University Music Faculty to Perform Saturday

REDDING, Calif. - Simpson University’s music faculty will be featured Saturday evening in a concert showcasing their talents in voice, piano, percussion, violin and composition.
The concert is at 7:30 p.m. in the Heritage Student Life Center on campus, 2211 College View Drive in Redding. Tickets are $8 general admission, $6 for seniors and students and are available at the door or online at simpsonu.edu/musicevents.
The concert will feature vocal performances by Dr. Cyril Myers, director of choral studies, and JennyRebecca Winans; a piano performance by Lois Nichols; percussion by Dr. Dwayne Corbin, who also conducts the Shasta Symphony Orchestra; a violin piece by Li-Yuan Ho; and original compositions by Dr. Dan Pinkston, an award-winning composer.
