Simpson University Chorale Presents Dinner and ‘Musical Review’

The Musical Review concert and fundraiserREDDING, Calif. - The Simpson University Music Department will present “The Musical Review,” a Chorale concert and fundraiser, on Friday, March 6, inside the Heritage Student Life Center on campus.

This special event includes a dinner and concert by the student Chorale, featuring highlights from a variety of popular American musicals, including “Les Miserables,” “The Sound of Music,” and “Phantom of the Opera.”

Directed by Dr. Cyril Myers, the 40-member Chorale is an auditioned ensemble specializing in advanced vocal and choral techniques and standard choral repertoire. Chorale is the touring vocal group of the university, traveling in the U.S. and abroad.

A silent auction will be held during the event, with items valued up to $1,500 available for bidding. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to support choral activities at Simpson University.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the silent auction. Dinner begins at 6:15, and the concert begins at 7:30.
