REDDING, Calif. - The Redding Subaru dealership has donated $10,000 to Simpson University to establish the Redding Subaru Nursing Scholarship Fund.

“We are very grateful for the support from local businesses to help us provide quality higher education to students,” said Simpson University President Robin Dummer, who accepted a check May 4 from Jonathan Campbell, general manager of the dealership.

The fund will provide annual scholarship aid to qualifying men and woman in Simpson University’s School of Nursing.

Simpson University opened a new Science and Nursing Center in fall 2014 and offers both a four-year bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) program and a 16-month RN-BSN Track for registered nurses.
