Simpson University for Seniors

REDDING, Calif. - Early registration is encouraged for Simpson University for Seniors’ February courses, which begin Feb. 2.

Simpson University for Seniors offers non-credit, no-homework classes to adults of any age who are interested in learning. Classes are taught on Simpson’s campus by university professors and professionals in their field of expertise.

The following courses are being offered:

Espanol “para llevar!” Spanish to go! Do you enjoy traveling to destinations where Spanish is the spoken language? This educational and entertaining class will provide students with the basics of Spanish, allowing each student to maximize his/her next experience of traveling to a Spanish-speaking country. Presented by Bryan Chamberlin.

The Customs and Culture of the Ancient Israelites. When we open the Bible, we are confronted with a world different from the one in which we live. Their customs and daily activities often puzzle or surprise us. This course helps in the understanding of that ancient culture. Presented by Dr. Glenn Schaefer.

Two courses are offered each month through May. The cost is $95 per person, per course, or $145 for couples registering for the same course. Register online with a credit card at simpsonu.edu/seniorschool.
