Simpson University for Seniors Accepting Students for March Classes

REDDING, Calif. - Early registration is encouraged for Simpson University for Seniors’ March courses, which begin Monday, March 2.
Simpson University for Seniors offers non-credit, no-homework classes to adults of any age who are interested in learning. The classes are taught on Simpson’s campus by university professors and professionals in their field of expertise.
Classes meet from 10:20 to 11:20 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The following courses are being offered:
The Teachings of Jesus - This course will focus on Jesus’ teachings in the Sermon on the Mount and his parables to understand the way he taught and the radical message that changed the world. Presented by Dr. Jack Painter.
Photographic Composition: Giving your Photographic Vision Impact - For centuries, artists and sculptors have used basic principles of human vision to bring pictures to life. This course will apply those basic composition techniques to photography. The use of cell phone cameras, iPad cameras and digital point-and-shoot cameras is encouraged. Those wishing to use DSLR or video cameras are also encouraged to participate. Presented by Steven Solinksi.
Two courses are offered each month through May. The cost is $95 per person, per course, or $145 for couples registering for the same course. Register online with a credit card at simpsonu.edu/seniorschool.
