Simpson University Offers Teacher Credential Program in Siskiyou County

REDDING, Calif. - Simpson University’s School of Education is offering a teacher credential program in Siskiyou County starting in 2016.

The 16-month program, which prepares students to earn their California Preliminary Teaching Credential in single or multiple subjects, includes on-site evening classes at Weed Elementary School, with student teaching seminar courses online.

Starting in January, two courses will be offered, from 5 to 8 p.m. Mondays and 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays.
