Simpson University to Host Talk About ‘The Shack” Movie

REDDING, Calif. - Simpson University’s Veterans Success Center and A.W. Tozer Theological Seminary will host a talk Thursday, March 9, with Dr. Baxter Kruger on the newly released movie “The Shack,” based on the best-selling novel by William Paul Young.
The 7 p.m. discussion will be in LaBaume-Rudat Hall, room 204, on campus at 2211 College View Drive. There is no cost to attend.
Dr. Kruger is the director of Perichoresis Ministries in Jackson, Miss. He has degrees in political science, divinity, and earned his Ph.D. from Kings College, Aberdeen in Scotland. He is the author of nine books, including The Great Dance, Jesus and the Undoing of Adam, Across All Worlds, and The Shack Revisited, and teaches around the world. Dr. Baxter is an avid outdoorsman and holds two U.S. patents for his fishing lure designs.
