About Betty Dean
Dr. Betty Dean is in her ninth year as a Board of Trustees member, four as chair. She has drawn upon her experience in two community college presidencies and her time as a dean of a nursing school to help develop the board and played a critical role in the support of the construction of the Science and Nursing Center. In October the Board of Trustees unanimously approved the naming of the Betty M. Dean School of Nursing in recognition of her faithful service and generous heart.
