DESCRIPTION:The EDGE is a student wilderness adventure experience. The EDGE is a week of backpacking\, white water rafting and rock climbing that is designed to prepare you for success at Simpson University. It is a transformational wilderness journey. \nThe Edge takes place before the start of Fall semester and is a 3-credit course\, which will be part of your Fall semester. There is a $650 course fee which covers food and equipment. Contact your admissions counselor if you are interested.  \n\nGet an Edge in community as you bond with your small group through shared adventure.\nGet an Edge academically as you come to Welcome Week with one class completed.\nGet an Edge on graduation counting this class toward the new Ascent General Education requirements.\nGet an Edge spiritually\, connecting with God through His Creation.
