At Simpson, we celebrate your unique gifts in academics, talents, callings, and heart for service. That’s why we offer a variety of merit, need-based, and ministry- or scholarship-track awards. Many scholarships are automatically considered when you apply; others recognize specific talents, ministry involvement, or financial need. Legacy Scholarships ➜
Simpson University offers six unique Legacy scholarships. Should you qualify, you will be automatically awarded.
Legacy Alliance Scholarship
Dedicated to helping families affiliated with the Christian & Missionary Alliance, we created the Legacy Alliance Scholarship to make a four-year private Christian education a reality for those connected with an Alliance Church. A non-stackable 50% annual tuition discount will be given to students in our traditional undergraduate program. Verification from the applicant’s C&MA church will be requested during the application process. This Scholarship can be combined with the Church Match Scholarship, found in Ministry Scholarships below.
Educators Scholarship
Simpson University is dedicated to the mission of changing lives. This ideal has inspired Simpson University to create The Educators Scholarship to support the training and equipping of credentialed school teachers.
Imago Dei Scholarship
This scholarship is designed to make a four-year private Christian education a reality for students from outside the USA who display exemplary academic skill and express a desire to promote culture and equality.
NorCal Promise Scholarship
Dedicated to helping families in Northern California, we created the NorCal Promise Scholarship to make a four-year private Christian education a reality for those living throughout Northern California.
Mosaic Scholarship
In order to celebrate culture and promote unique cultural expressions, we created this scholarship to make a four-year private Christian education affordable for students who display exemplary academics and express a desire to promote culture and equality.
Bethel Student Scholarship
Simpson University created the Bethel Student Scholarship to help make a four-year private education a reality for Bethel students committed to the expansion of God’s kingdom.
Talent Scholarships ➜
General Music Scholarship
Awarded to exceptional musicians via recommendation from Music Chair/Department. Renewable at discretion of Music Department.
Ensemble Scholarship
Available to students who participate in a Simpson University ensemble group. Renewable with ongoing Ensemble participation.
Athletic Scholarship
Each coach will determine the amount of institutional athletic aid awarded to team members. Renewable with ongoing athletic participation.
Ministry Scholarships ➜
Ministry/Christian Worker Dependent Scholarship
For students with parent(s) or spouse working as a full-time pastor or full-time Christian service worker.
Church Match Scholarship
If the home church contributes annually, Simpson University will match up to $3,000/year. Student scholarships paid to Simpson University and received from church will be matched 1:1 (up to $3,000, $1,500/semester). DOWNLOAD FORM
