Red Hawks Football

After two years of careful study, research and critical conversations with students, faculty, staff, and community members, Simpson University made the decision to launch a football program. The program will began in the fall of 2023 with a scrimmage season and will begin full conference play during the fall of 2024. Starting a football program has delivered a potent impact on our campus and our community for the foreseeable future. We are committed to a program that is rich in both faith and academic pursuits, and one that puts us on the map as a university on the move.

Simpson University is proud to offer football as yet another opportunity to our students, as we continue to grow and develop new athletics and educational programs.

In 2023, we added a full coaching staff, including Head Coach, Shawn Daniel. Student athletes interested in becoming part of the program should fill out a prospective athlete form below.
