How to Clear Your Browser Cache (Memory)

Not Seeing Your Updates? Try This First

Often a simple page refresh will do the trick. Enter in the URL (page address) into your web browser and hold down the shift key when you hit "return" or "enter" on your keyboard.

Still Seeing Old Info?

Here are the more powerful measures you can take to force your browser to delete the old info in it's memory (cache) so you can reload the page to see the new info.

*TIP: Find out what browser you're using and update to a better one if you can

Internet Explorer 8 & 9

  1. Click on the “Tools” icon in the top right
  2. Go to Internet Options
  3. In the ‘General’ tab under “Browsing History” click “Delete”
  4. Click “Delete Cookies” under “Delete Cookies”

Internet Explorer 7

(You shouldn't be using a browser this old! What is it 1997? Get a new version here)

  1. Go to Your Control Panel
  2. Go to Internet Options
  3. Under “Browsing History” click “Delete”
  4. Click “Delete Cookies” under “Delete Cookies”

Internet Explorer 6

(You shouldn't be using a browser this old! What is it 1985? Get a new version here)

  1. Go To Tools
  2. Go to Internet Options
  3. In the “General” tab & under “Browsing History”, click “Delete”
  4. Click “Delete Files” under “Temporary Internet Files”
  5. Click OK & then OK again

Chrome

  1. Click on the ‘spanner’ icon in the top right
  2. Go to “Tools” and then “Clear Browsing Data”
  3. Select “Cookies” then click “Clear Browsing Data”
  4. If you have problems try using a different browser

Firefox

  1. Go to Tools
  2. Go to Options
  3. Go to the Privacy tab
  4. Click “Show Cookies”
  5. Click “Remove all Cookies”

Firefox 5 and earlier

  1. Click on ‘Firefox’ in the top left
  2. Go to Options then Options
  3. Go to the Privacy tab
  4. Click “Show Cookies”
  5. Click “Remove all Cookies”

Safari (Mac) - Remove History

  1. Click “History”
  2. Click “Clear History”

Safari (Mac) - Remove Cookies

  1. Click on “Preferences”
  2. Click “Privacy”
  3. Click “Remove All Website Data”

Safari (Mac) - Remove Everything

  1. Click Safari/ Reset Safari
