Scholarship Summit
Experience the Simpson University Scholarship Summit, an exclusive gathering designed for academically distinguished students. This event features enriching preview sessions and professional development workshops, aimed at enhancing career readiness in a dynamic campus environment.
Participants will not only gain invaluable insights but also become eligible for an additional $2,000 scholarship on top of their merit award. Additionally, the Summit presents the unique opportunity to receive a full-tuition Trustee’s Scholarship through scholarship essays. It’s a remarkable chance for students to elevate their academic paths and connect with like-minded peers.
Qualifications – Essay
Students must submit an essay by Thursday, February 1st to attend the event. Essay must be:
- 800-1000 words
- Times New Roman
- 12 pt. font
- .PDF or .DOC format
- Emailed to admissions@simpsonu.edu or to your admissions counselor directly
- Prompt (Answer Both)
- Describe a time when you encountered difficulty or an obstacle in your life and how you overcame it.
- How will you be academically successful at Simpson University?
Pre-Requisites
- First-time Freshman
- Students with less than 30 college credits earned after high school graduation date
- 3.6 Unweighted High School GPA and above
- Transfer Students
- Students with 30 or more college credits earned after high school graduation date
- 3.7 cumulative college GPA and above
