Student Success Center

We’ve got you covered

Navigating college life takes more than just showing up to class—it’s about balancing academics, work, and personal growth. At Simpson University’s Student Success Center (SSC), we’re here to support you every step of the way. Whether you need academic help, career guidance, or personal support, the SSC offers a wide range of services designed to help you thrive in and out of the classroom.

Our mission is simple: to empower you to succeed—academically, professionally, and personally. We’re committed to giving you the tools, resources, and encouragement you need to make the most of your Simpson experience.

ACADEMIC SUCCESS CENTER
Academic Success Center

The Academic Success Center (ASC) engages in the intellectual growth and success of Simpson University students by providing them with resources, education, guidance, and support to assist them in their individual efforts. This is accomplished through offering services such as tutoring, academic coaching, handouts, exam proctoring, and disability accommodations. These resources are free to all Simpson University students.

INTERNSHIPS, CAREER DEVELOPMENT, AND CALLING
Internships, Career, and Calling

Internships, Career, and Calling exists to assist Simpson University students and alumni in the development of career decision-making and professional skills within a Christian worldview. We desire to help individuals discover their God-given strengths and giftings and assist in the transition of being a student to fulfilling a calling and career. Our goal is to educate and equip students through career counseling, online resources, and by collaboration with other departments on campus as well as in the community.

MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

Mental Health Services

Simpson University has partnered with North American Mental Health Services (NAMHS) to provide mental health support to students on campus, via tele-health and in-office visitations.

TRIO Services
TRIO Student Support Services

The TRIO Student Support Services is a federally funded program designed to help first-generation students, low-income students and/or students with disabilities through the college experience. The goal of the program is to minimize the challenges these students face in accomplishing their personal, academic and career goals. We also want to provide these students with tools, resources and experiences they may not have access to. This includes Workshops, Cultural Events, Speaker Events, Mentorship and more.

Veteran Success Center
Veteran Success Center

The Veteran Success Center is dedicated to accommodating service members, veterans, and their dependents as they seek out their education options at Simpson University. We will be your direct contact to ensure you’re aware of all your educational options and we will provide you with all of the steps required for completing your academic goals.

Our services to you (as a veteran) include program information, benefit education, application guidance, student care, wellness and advocacy on and off campus. Stop by the VSC and we can help guide you through a successful educational experience and degree completion.

Academic Advising
Academic Advising

The goal of academic advising is to assist traditional undergraduate students to take responsibility for developing meaningful educational plans compatible with their potential and life goals. This is done through information giving, program planning, and student referrals.
