Fall 2013 Events

Aug. 31 Square Dance

    An orientation event welcoming new students through a country-western style BBQ and Square Dance.

Sept. 9-13 Stick’em

    An exciting week-long variation of tag that facilitates discovery and familiarization within the Simpson community.

Oct. 25 Airband

    A lip-sync competition featuring music and choreographed dance by large groups of students.

Nov. 22 Exposure

    A formal, student-produced film festival.

Dec. 8 Fuel Up

    On the eve of finals come enjoy food, fellowship and an hour long break from studying.

Spring 2014 Events

Feb. 6 CLUE

    SU student leadership will be hosting a night of intrigue, excitement and adventure, as teams of staff and students try to solve who stole Red the Redhawk. A CASH prize will still be awarded at the bon fire gathering following the game. Smores will be served- YUM! This event starts at 7 p.m.

March 7 Nitelife

    A live production of diverse talents performed by students.

March 7-14 Digital Short Video Competition

    A completely student-evaluated event showcasing student talent through digital shorts that are up to two minutes in length.

April 3 Exposure Workshop

    This workshop will act as a means of empowering passionate students to tell better stories and make better films. We hope this event will be a place where students interested in all aspects of film-making can network, be trained on practical skills, and learn story telling techniques.

April 21 Fuel Up

    On the eve of finals come enjoy food, fellowship and an hour long break from studying.
