This two-day event is a fun way to learn more about Simpson University and discover your place in a wonderful community!

“Day in the Life” - Biology and Nursing Visit - November 14, 2014


Discover Simpson’s science programs and experience a Day in the Life of a Biology or Nursing student. Our hope is that your most important questions find answers as you connect with faculty, participate in science classes and encounter our nursing simulation labs with hands-on demonstrations, and meet the amazing SU student community.

Extend your stay by joining Simpson’s Annual Film Festival, Exposure. Experience creative, fun and completely original student-made films, written and directed by our aspiring filmmakers. Exposure is a formal attire, “red carpet” event, so dress in your finest.

Event Registration Fee: $10 per prospective student. Parents are welcome and invited to participate.

Spring Preview Weekend - March 13-14, 2015

This year’s Spring Preview Weekend will be full of festivities, music, and informative seminars. Attendees will include our current student body, youth groups, leaders and prospective students. Friday night’s entertainment will feature NiteLife: Simpson University students present a live talent show of unique performances. You won’t want to miss this exciting event! The cost is $25 per person.

Fall Preview Weekend - October 24-25, 2014

You’ll experience a day in the life of a Simpson student by attending chapel, going to class, getting to know faculty, dining in the cafeteria, and touring the campus. All this followed by exceptional evening of entertainment SU style and getting to see first-hand what residence life is all about when you “room” with a Simpson student for a night. On Saturday, you will have the opportunity to participate in several optional activities or meetings. One of these options includes the chance to serve in our local community alongside our current students as a part of our Strike Teams.

This two-day event is a fun way to learn more about Simpson University and discover your place in a wonderful community! The cost for this event is $25 per person. Parents are welcome and invited to participate.

Individual Visits

You are welcome to visit us any day of the week. We recommend a Wednesday or Friday because then you’ll get the following:

  • Campus Tour (please plan for 1 hour)
  • Meeting with your personal admissions counselor
  • Chapel
  • Complimentary lunch in the Emeriti Dining Center (up to 3 people)
  • Class Visit

If you would like to schedule a specific meeting with a coach or professor in your desired field of study or a music audition, please let us know at least one week in advance.

The preferred arrival hour to campus is 9am. If you need to arrive at a later time, please let us know!

Overnight

We are able to accommodate overnight visiting students Monday through Friday evenings for one night. To stay overnight, the student must be a high school senior or a transfer student. Visiting students will be housed with a current student in one of our residence halls. Please bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towel, and other necessary toiletries. Group Visits

If you would like to bring your school, church or other groups for a visit at Simpson University, please complete the Group Visit form. We can accommodate up to 50 individuals within a single scheduled visit. If your group has more than 50 individuals, please contact our Visit Coordinator at 1-888-974-6776 ext. 2769 or email at visitcoordinator@simpsonu.edu.

A group visit will comprise of a tour of the Simpson University campus and a presentation by the Admissions Office. Additional items* can be added to the visit agenda by completing the Group Visit form.

Before you visit us...

The Simpson University community has a few important events and holidays throughout the year. Please review the information below to ensure your visit plans won't conflict with holiday weekends or final examinations. We also recommend you check out our Important Dates page.

If you will be in the area for a couple of hours, drop by the campus and enjoy a tour. Daily tours start at 11:30am or 2pm Monday - Friday. Tours are one hour in length, so please wear comfortable shoes.

The Admissions Office Welcome Center is located on the first floor of the Owen Student Service Center on the south end of campus.

Our business office hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm

Daily tours start at 11:30am or 2pm Monday - Friday.

Saturday tours are available upon request.
