
Biography
Michael Austin is an Assistant Professor at Simpson University, teaching courses in Calculus, University Physics, Computer-Aided Design, Robotics, and the Junior Design Project. He actively supports student engagement in STEM through initiatives such as the AMC math competition, Upward Bound STEM Day, and regional robotics and science competitions. Mr. Austin holds an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Rice University. His professional background spans academia, business, and entrepreneurship, including teaching at the University of Phoenix, tutoring Division I athletes, and serving as an instructor and trainer with Kaplan Test Prep. He is the founder of Pro Style Sports and brings entrepreneurial insight into the classroom to connect theory with real-world application.
