Biography
From a childhood of athletics and a love for competition, Heather developed a passion for lifelong health and wellness. She has focused her academic career on teaching pedagogy and skill for clinical health and fitness as well as future physical educators based in exercise physiology, psychological methods, planning and organization for motivating and sustaining a healthy community.
As an educator, her research passions lie in investigating best practices as well as new and innovative methods for teaching and learning. She enjoys course and curricular development for both face to face and online teaching as well as collaborating with colleagues across all departments.
