Biography
Susanna was introduced to Jesus by her parents and church community at an early age. She became an instructor and director of performing arts and family programs in Tehama County (Selah Dance Academy/Dance for Joy, Mercy High School, Lincoln Street Elementary School, First Church of God Preschool, and others.) Inspired by her own children and her students, she studied Child Development at University of La Verne and discovered a calling to the behavioral health field. After graduating with her Master of Social Work degree, she became a licensed mental health clinician. She specializes in working with preschoolers, children, youth, and families, with experience in educational, health, and private settings. She is delighted to be returning to Simpson as a full-time faculty member and adjunct instructor in the MACP. She lives in Shasta County with her family and pets, attends The Stirring, and teaches dance fitness at the Shasta YMCA.
