The Applied Artificial Intelligence Certificate is a flexible, interdisciplinary program designed for students of any major who want to develop real-world AI skills for business, education, communication, and more. This certificate focuses on hands-on learning, ethical application, and career-ready competencies, all taught from a Christ-centered, purpose-driven perspective.
Students can complete the certificate in either 7-week or 15-week formats, making it ideal for both traditional undergraduates and adult learners looking to upskill. Whether you’re preparing for your first job or enhancing an existing career, this credential helps you understand and responsibly implement today’s most powerful AI tools.
Students in this certification program will gain experience with courses such as:
- Introduction to Artificial Intelligence
- Business & AI Ethics
- Applied AI Business Tools: Prompt Engineering and Business Technologies
- AI-Driven Business Strategy and Policy
Note: Students who are already enrolled in the Data Science & AI specialization within the Business Administration major are not eligible to earn this certificate, due to curriculum overlap.
