Transfer Nursing Track

Transfer to Simpson – Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Simpson University School of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing to transfer students, allowing for a seamless transfer of credits from other universities into the Betty M. Dean School of Nursing.
The degree expands the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of professional nursing, providing a meaningful understanding of healthcare’s rapidly changing environment.
Degree Structure
All prerequisite courses must be completed before admission to the Betty M. Dean School of Nursing. Many courses from other accredited colleges and universities may transfer to Simpson University, which could make you eligible for direct entry into the nursing program upon your acceptance to Simpson. However, admission to Simpson University does not guarantee admission to the School of Nursing. You may still need to complete additional prerequisite courses before enrolling in the program.
NCLEX
Upon completion, students will be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN state-licensing exam. Graduates are also eligible for the California Public Health Nurse (PHN) certificate upon passing NCLEX.
RN to BSN
With our unique class structure and class design, students take one class at a time – one night a week for 5 weeks, with each class designed to build on the knowledge gained in the previous class. Our step-by-step structure optimizes learning, leading to greater assimilation and stronger retention, allowing you to compete in the rapidly changing healthcare environment. This program is a hybrid format with courses being offered face-to-face, online, or a combination of the two.
