About the Speaker
Sean Parnell
Sean Parnell is an attorney and former public official who served as the 10th Governor of Alaska from 2009 to 2014. Prior to becoming governor, he served as Alaska’s lieutenant governor, a member of the Alaska State Senate, and a member of the Alaska House of Representatives. Parnell earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University and a law degree from Seattle University School of Law, and practiced law in the private sector before and after his public service.
