
Biography
Kelli Napp brings over 17 years of experience in private practice as a counseling psychologist, along with a decade of teaching in higher education. She has served as adjunct psychology faculty at Cornerstone University and in Simpson University’s MA in Counseling Psychology program, where she combined clinical expertise with a strong commitment to student development.
Since joining Simpson University as full-time faculty in 2022, Kelli has served in multiple leadership and service roles, including Interim Department Chair, Disciplinary Lead for Psychology in the Degree Completion (Adult Studies) program, member of the MACP Leadership Team, and the Faculty Personnel Committee. She has also contributed to several staff and faculty hiring search committees.
Originally from the Midwest, Kelli now lives in Northern California with her husband of 34 years. Outside of academia, she enjoys hiking, attending church, going to the movies, and expressing her creativity through cooking and crochet.
