
Biography
Naomi Gendron, BSN, RN, PCCN, serves as the Simulation Lab Coordinator for the School of Nursing at Simpson University in Redding, California. She brings more than 19 years of nursing experience, with a clinical background primarily in emergency nursing at a Magnet-designated hospital serving the San Diego region. Her clinical experience includes triage, trauma care, stroke and STEMI response, pediatric emergencies, and stabilization of critically ill patients in high-acuity settings.
Throughout her career, Naomi has served in leadership and educational roles including charge nurse, mentor, preceptor, clinical instructor, and clinical staff and nurse educator. She also previously served as an instructor for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
At Simpson University, Naomi designs, and facilitates high-fidelity simulation experiences that develop nursing students’ clinical judgment, critical thinking, and teamwork, preparing them to provide safe, confident, patient-centered care.
Outside of work, Naomi enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and serving in her local church and community.
