Dr. & Mrs. George So Scholarship
The Dr. and Mrs. George So Scholarship is a current-use scholarship, meaning all contributions are immediately available to support eligible students.
The scholarship will be awarded annually to at least one student, assuming at least one applicant meets the qualifications. The selection and distribution process will follow the policies established by the Simpson University Board of Trustees. Contributions to the scholarship fund can be made at any time by individuals or organizations wishing to support this initiative.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- Any international students enrolled in a degree course of study with Simpson University via any of the following modalities: online, remote site, distance learning, or hybrid
- Is not a U.S. citizen. at the time of acceptance by Simpson University
- Minimum score of 79 TOEFL or 6.5 IELTS
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Where applicable, have the Chinese equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma (applications will be reviewed based on Grade 11/Form 5 grades)
- All candidates for this scholarship must also meet the academic and other eligibility requirements of Simpson University
- Must have completed an application for admission and completed an applicable scholarship application
- Returning students will maintain continued eligibility with a minimum GPA of 2.5 upon completion of the previous academic year
- Students enrolled in classes delivered by Simpson University through the Hong Kong Institute of Christian Counselors
