The Ronald Reagan Legacy Scholarship honors students who demonstrate leadership, character, and a commitment to serving others. At Simpson University, we believe higher education should prepare students not only for careers, but for lives of purpose and influence.

This scholarship is designed for incoming freshmen who reflect the values often associated with President Ronald Reagan’s legacy: optimism, integrity, service, and a belief in the power of leadership to make a difference. Five scholarships of $4,000 will be awarded to students who meet the qualifications and exemplify these qualities.

• Completed scholarship application form
• Personal essay (500–750 words): “How I Intend to Lead with Optimism, Integrity, and Service in the Spirit of Ronald Reagan.”
• Two letters of recommendation (one academic, one character)
• High school transcript
• List of leadership, service, or civic activities
• Must be an admitted student
• 3.25 HS GPA
