Academic Success Center

Supporting Academic & Personal Success

The Academic Success Center (ASC) is here to equip you with the academic support, skills, and confidence you need to succeed. Through tutoring, coaching, mentorship, and resource support, we’ll help you grow academically and personally as you pursue your God-given calling. All ASC services are free to students.

What We Offer

Tutoring & Study Groups

Get subject-specific tutoring for most general education and many major courses from fellow students who have an insider perspective. The ASC offers individual tutoring and group study sessions.

Resources & Study Support

You can access online academic resources through Canvas, join Scholar Hours for focused study time, attend academic and well-being workshops, or take advantage of group study rooms on the library’s second floor.

Testing Center

Accessibility Services ensures an equitable learning environment for students with documented disabilities—whether permanent, temporary, or episodic. Accommodations are based on functional needs and may require professional documentation. Because accommodations are not retroactive, early requests are encouraged, but you may apply anytime during the semester. For more information, contact Dr. Erin Gordon or visit the SU Portal.

Accessibility Services

Our accessibility services include support for students with documented disabilities, including assistance with academic access, testing accommodations, alternative course materials, and other services designed to promote student success and full participation in campus life.

Academic Outreach

Throughout the semester, we partner with faculty, RDs, and athletic coaches to reach out to students who may need additional support and help connect them with the right resources early.

Designed to Support ALL Students

The Academic Success Center supports everyone—not just those facing academic challenges. Whether you’re looking to strengthen study habits, prepare for exams, improve time management, access accommodations, or receive one-on-one academic support, the ASC provides resources to help you succeed throughout your college journey.
